My first home was built by my grandparents on Summerhill Avenue in 1912. She grew up in the midst of a family that owned and operated the T. English (Olive Farm Dairy) from the early 1900’s until 1965 at 68 Shaftesbury Avenue, Toronto. Although a Toronto Beach resident since 1974, I have never forgotten my ‘hometown roots’ and am now the co-chair of the Summerhill Heritage Conservation District Study. I am also a member of the Summerhill Residents’ Association.
I received a Bachelor of Physical & Health Education and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. For several years I taught for the ‘old’ Scarborough Board of Education at both Winston Churchill Collegiate and Birchmount Park Collegiate. I served as Vice President and President of the Scarborough Secondary Schools Girls Athletic Association.
I began my real estate career in 1983. I have conducted real estate business in many rural and out of town areas that include Prince Edward County, Bowmanville, Cannington, Whitby, Oshawa, Hamilton, Pickering, Ajax, Port Credit and presently Fergus. I have also been the listing or co-operating realtor for many neighbourhoods in Toronto and the GTA including East York, the Beach, High Park, the Junction, Rosedale, Long Branch, New Toronto, Moore Park, Summerhill and more.
I am an avid golfer and a member of the Toronto Hunt.
